Rhythm Superfoods Gets $3M From General Mills

Austin-based snack food maker Rhythm Superfoods has raised $3M in a Series C funding round, which was led by General Mills, according to the company this morning. Rhythm Superfoods said the funding came from 301 INC, a new business development and venturing unit from General Mills, and also in cluded the CircleUp Growth Fund. Rhythm Superfood is led by Scott Jensen; the company's health food products include kale chips, broccoli snacks, and "superfood" chips with such ingredients as flaxseed, quinoa, and chia.
