RetailMeNot Sees Big Boost In Mobile

Austin-based coupon search site RetailMeNot looks to be making strides in addressing the mobile market, reporting Monday that it has 125.3 million mobile app sessions in Q1, compared with 20.2 million mobile app sessions a year ago. The numbers came out in RetailMeNot's quarterly results, where the company said its net revenues rose to $61.3M, up 51 percent compared with the same quarter last year. RetailMeNot, which is led by Cotter Cunningham, has been making a big push to reach consumers both through its popular website, as well as through new mobile platforms. RetailMeNot has also been using an older technology--email newsletters--saying it now has over 20.4 million subscribers to its newsletters or store alerts.
