RetailMeNot Hooks Up With Longhorns Offer

Austin-based online mobile and online coupon service RetailMeNot is hooking up with University of Texas Longhorn fans, by offering up a new, events-based offering, the company said today. RetailMeNot said it is testing event-based offers during the first, University of Texas spring football game, in honor of new head coach Charlie Strong. RetailMeNot said it is offering up a buy one, get one free Pizza Hut deal and contest to win four tickets to the season opener through its mobile app for iPhone and Android. RetailMeNot said the deal comes out of new geofencing capabilities in its apps it is testing in Austin.
