RetailMeNot.com Teaches Students Money Saving Skills

RetailMeNot.com, the online coupon site which is owned by Austin's WhaleShark Media, is behind a new effort to help students learn money saving skills. The site said today that it has teamed with nonprofit Junior Achievement USA, to provide curriculum to help teach students how to save money. The new curriculum--available to middle-school educators--outlines ways to help students learn about searching for online coupons and better manage their savings. The curriculum teaches basic skills in finding and using coupons and deals, and outlines activities teachers can do with students to help in learning those skills. The details are posted and available to teachers on the Junior Achievement site, as well as on RetailMeNot's Savings Appreciation Campaign page.
