RetailMeNot Buys GiftCard Zen For $22M

Austin-based online coupon site RetailMeNot said last week that it has acquired GiftCard Zen, the operator of a secondary marketplace for gift cards. RetailMeNot said it paid $22M in cash, plus up to $11M in earnout. GiftCard Zen was based in Phoenix, Arizona, and will now report to RetailMeNot's gift card business unit.
