RetailMeNot: Consumers Plan To Shop, Not Work, Next Monday

Don't go into work expecting to get much done after the Thanksgiving holidays; according to Austin's RetailMeNot, there are an awful lot of people who are already planning to spend at least half their time at work next Monday shopping those holiday sales. RetailMeNot said it ran a survey which found that the vast majority of working Americans are planning to do some shopping at work on Cyber Monday, with 86 percent saying their plans include online shopping; 25 percent of those plan on spending more than four hours on work in their shopping activities. RetailMeNot did not give any of the parameters, details, or statistical information on the survey, which it says came from its own surveys and The Omnibus Company. RetailMeNot operates an online coupon and deals site geared at online shoppers.
