Report: Spredfast Slashes 47 Employees, Shuts Wisconsin Office

Austin-based marketing technology startup Spredfast is slashing jobs and closing its Wisconsin office, according to a leaked internal memo. The memo--which was sent to the State of Wisconsin as part of layoff procedures--says that Spredfast has laid of 47 employees and plans to close its Madison, Wisconsin office in August. Many of those jobs, and the Wisconsin location, came from Spredfast's acquisition in 2015 of Shoutlet, a developer of online marketing analytics software.
