RagingWire Data Centers Acquired By NTT Communications

RagingWireData Centers, a data center provider with a large data center in Dallas, has been acquired by NTT Communications, the communications arm of IT giant NTT Group. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. NTT DATA's US operations are based in Plano. NTT had already owned 80 percent of RagingWire, having purchased that stake in January of 2014. According to NTT, it now has more than 140 facilities across 20 countries and regions. RagingWire had been founded in 2000, and was led by Douglas Adams, CEO and President.
