RadioTime Powers In-Car Radio

Dallas-based RadioTime, a developer of Internet radio services and guides, said this week that the firm's service is powering a new, in-car web radio product. RadioTime said its web radio service has been integrated into the BMW MINI, via the auto manufacturer MINI Connected option, a USB interface for integrating Apple iPhone into a car's audio system. RadioTime said that the MINI Connected option now features a web radio, based on its directory, which uses the iPhone's Internet connection to tune into thousands of AM/FM and Internet only radio stations. The new product integrates the Radiotime guide into an in-dash, steering wheel controlled audio system.
