Rackspace Adds Mobile Support

San Antonio-based IT hosting provider Rackspace has added new features which allow its customers to access information about their hosted servers via mobile phones. Rackspace said today that its customer portal now supports ability to monitor and manage support tickets using Blackberry, iPhone, and other mobile platforms. The addition of mobile support came as part of a set of enhancements to the firm's customer portal, which is used by its customers to manage their hosted infrastructure. Rackspace provides over 15,000 customers with managed hosting and services.
