Rackspace Acquires SharePoint911

San Antonio-based Rackspace is expanding into the SharePoint consulting arena, saying Thursday that it has acquired SharePoint911, an Ohio company which provides consulting around Microsoft's SharePoint enterprise portal tool. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. SharePoint911 said it will continue to offer up its consulting services to its customers, including users using non-Rackspace services.
