Rackspace Acquires RelationEdge

San Antonio-based Rackspace said Thursday afternoon that it has acquired RelationEdge, a provider of Salesforce consulting and digital gency services. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Rackspace said the acquisition will help it broaden its application services portfolio, including adding implementation and managed services for SaaS applications RelationEdge is based in San Diego, California, was founded in 2013, and now has 125 employees. According to Rackspace, it will continue to operate the RelationEdge business, with "considerable" independence, under the company's existing leadership and brand.
