Pyxis Technology Extends Series B Round

Austin-based Pyxis Technology, which develops electronic design automation (EDA) software for routing integrated circuit designs, said Tuesday it has raised an additional $5.25M in its Series B round. The funding came from KT Venture Group, the investment arm of KLA-Tencor, and also included prior investors Austin Ventures, CMEA Ventures, and Formative Ventures. Pyxis said the funding will go towards accelerating deployment of the firm's auto-router product, Pyxis NexusRoute. The Pyxis autorouting software is focused on providing better yields for semiconductor manufacturers; the firm's software is targeted at routing at 45nm process technology. More information »
