PLx Pharma Drops IPO Effort

Houston-based PLx Pharma, a developer of biopharmaceuticals to improve the oral absorption of drugs, has withdrawn its IPO, according to a regulatory filing by the firm late last week. The company cited "market conditions" in the move. PLx Pharma had filed for the IPO back in October, and set an initial offering range in January.
