Planview Launches New Idea Collection Software

Austin-based Planview said yesterday that it has launched a new offering called Planview Enterprise Ideation Management, a Web 2.0 software for evaluating and generating product ideas. The firm said it is tapping Brightidea.com for the offeirng, which it says can help companies solicit and gather ideas for new products and enhancements. Pricing on the new offering was not disclosed. Planview's products are used for IT management and product development.
