Perk Acquired By RhythmOne PLC

Austin-based loyalty rewards operator Perk said late Sunday evening that it has agreed to be acquired by RhythmOne PLC, a San Francisco-based digital media company. Perk said the acquisition is valued at approximately $42.5M, all in stock. Perk said the acquisition would improve its competitive positioning, revenue and cost synergies, and greater liquidity for its shareholders, among other benefits.
