OpenKey Updates App

Dallas-based OpenKey, which is developing a universal, hotel key app which is aimed at allowing multiple, hotel chains to support a single way to unlock digital hotel locks, said yesterday that it has released an upgrade to its app. OpenKey Version 3.5.1 includes such features as shared guest access, allowing up to four mobile keys for the same room during the same stay; email verification features; and group texting. OpenKey's apps run on iOS and Android. The company is led by CEO TJ Person.
