OpenKey Connects With ASSA ABLOY

Dallas-based OpenKey, which is developing technology to implement smartphone-driven, keyless entry to hotel rooms, has linked with hotel door lock provider ASSA ABLOY. OpenKey said it has integrated with ASSA ABLOY Hospitality, which has Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) enabled hotel door locks. OpenKey is developing technoloyg for hotel owners, to help them implement keyless entry via iOS or Android, and which works across a variety of hotel brands. The company is led by TJ Person.
