OnRamp Acquired By LightEdge

Austin-based colocation and hosting provider OnRamp has been acquired by Iowa-based IT services provider LightEdge, LightEdge said on Tuesday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to LightEdge, the deal will help it expand its footprint to new data centers in Austin, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina. OnRamp was led by CEO Lucas Braun. OnRamp got its startin 1994 as an ISP, and has been in the data center hosting business since 2003.
