Onit Raises $8.25M

Houston-based Onit, which develops enterprise legal management software, has raised $8.25M in a financing round, the company said Thursday. The funding was led by Level Equity Management, and also included Austin Ventures, The Texas Halo Fund and angel investors. Level Equity founder and Partner Sarah Sommer has joined the company's board. Onit is led by Eric M. Elfman. Onit's software is used by enterprise legal departments to manage their operations.
