Onit Launches New E-Signature Support

Houston-based Onit, which develops enterprise, business process automation tools, said this morning that it has added electronic signature support to its software. The company said the new features lets users sign everything from non-disclosure agreements to business contracts electronically via its software, and is aimed at helping streamline contract reviews and approvals. Onit was founded by Eric M. Elfman and Eric A. Smith, and is venture backed by Austin Ventures and Houston incubator RedHouse Associates. Smith and Elfman were the co-founders of Datacert.
