Nuventix Inks Distribution Deal

Austin-based Nuventix, the venture-backed developer of cooling technology for the LED lighting market, said this week that it has inked a distribution deal with Future Lighting Solutions. According to the firm, the agreement makes the firm's LED cooling products available to LED lighting manufacturers. Future Lighting is a unit of electronic component distributor Future Electronics. Nuventix said the deal gives it reach into 169 locations in 41 countries, across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Nuventix, which is headed by Jim Balthazar, is backed by Braemer Energy Ventures, Uniquest of Korea, and others.
