Nitero Acquired By AMD

Austin-based Nitero, a developer of wireless virtual and augmented reality technology, has been acquired by AMD, AMD announced on Monday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. AMD said it acquired the intellectual property (IP) and key engineering talent from Nitero. Nitero co-founder and CEO Pat Kelly has become Corporate Vice President, Wireless IP at AMD.
