Nimboxx Names Chief Scientist

Austin-based Nimboxx, which is developing converged infrastructure hardware, said this week that it has named William Turner as its new Chief Scientist. Turner was most recently Vice President of Datacener Architecture at Presidio, and also has served at Xirrus, JDSU, NASA, UCSF and Storage Way, along with Precision Digital. Nimboxx develops converged appliances, which combine servers, storage and networking into a single box, making for easier deployment and management.
