Nexus Acquired By Dimension Data

Nexus, an information technology services company which has extensive operations in Austin, Houston, and Dallas, has been acquired by fellow IT solutions provider Dimension Data, the companies announced this morning. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Dimension Data, which has $6 billion in revenues, said the acquisition expands its operations in the US by 40 percent. The deal adds 657 employees from Nexus to Dimension Data. The companies did not say how many employees are in Texas. Nexus is based in California, and also has operations in Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Washington, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina.
