Friday, October 13, 2017 Dell Technologies Aims Focus At Internet of Things Round Rock-based Dell Technologies has launched a new division focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), the company said this week, in a big launch. According to Dell Technologies, it will invest $1 billion in a new Internet of Things division, which will be led by Ray O'Farrell, the CTO of VMware. Amazon.com is in the midst of a big effort to select what it calls "Amazon HQ2", a new headquarters location which it will run in conjunction with its existing headquarters in Seattle.
