    RetailMeNot.com Dangles Vacation, Prizes In Holiday Promotion
    It's the Twelve Days Of Christmas (Prizes), for visitors to RetailMeNot.com, the online coupon site run by Austin's WhaleShark Media.     Austin Among Top Tech Metros, Says Report

    A new report issued today, detailing the impact of the technology industry on the U.S., says that Austin is one of the top technology metropolitan areas in the nation in terms of high tech employment concentration.     Solera Holdings Buys CarweB Limited
    Westlake, Texas-based Solera Holdings, the developer of software and services for the automobile insurance claims processing industry, said Friday that it has acquired CarWeB Limited, a provider of vehicle history reports and data to the UK market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.     Xplore Scores Big Military Order
    Austin-based rugged computing products manufacturer Xplore Technologies said today that it has received its largest single military order in its history, a multi-million dollar purchase of 900 of its Windows tablet products. The firm said the order came from the U.S. military, for over 900 of its iX104C5M rugged Windows tablets. Exact size of the order was not announced.
