    Tyler Technologies Wins Another Texas Agency
    Dallas-based Tyler Tech continues to add onto its long list of government customers, reporting this morning that it has been selected by the Texas Office of Court Administration (OCA). Tyler said that the OCA is using the firm for a unified, electronic filing system for court filings. Financial details and size of the win was not disclosed. Tyler said its software is now being used in more than 450 counties, including more than 50 in Texas.

    RF Code Expands International Efforts
    RF Code, the Austin developer of asset management and environment monitoring hardware, said this week that is is expanding its international efforts. The company said it has launched a new, international partner program aimed at supporting partners, and comes as it has been signing up new partners in Australia, Asia, and Europe.     Orbitz, Aegis Exceed Veteran Hiring Goals In Texas
    Travel site Orbitz<.b> and outsourcing firm Aegis said today that they have hired over 200 veterans and military family members this year in Killeen, Texas, as part of its pledge as part of the Joining Forces Veterans Hiring Initiative. The two had said in February that they would pledge to hire at least 50 veterans and military family members through 2012 as part of the effort to support veterans and the mili (More info...)

    Appro Acquired By Supercomputer Maker Cray
    Appro International, a provider of clustered, high performance computing products which has its Advanced Computing Center in Houston, has been acquired by supercomputer maker Cray. Cray said it would pay $25M in cash for Appro, and hire approximately 90 Appro employees as part of the acquisition. Cray did not say how many employees it is hiring from Cray's Houston location, or what it plans to do with those operations (More info...)
