Netsparker Picks Up $40M For Web Application Security

Austin- and London-based Netsparker, which develops web application security scanning software, has raised $40M in a funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding was led by Turn/River Capital. Netsparker says it has developed a web application security scanning tool, which can identify security flaws in any type of website, web application and web services. Netsparker said the new funding will go to accelerate its product roadmap, to grow sales, and marketing. Netsparker has a distributed workforce, but has a number of positions open specifically in Austin, including a Controller, VP of Operations, Marketing, and other roles.
