NetQOS Upgrades Financial Monitoring Software

Austin-based NetQOS, a developer of network performance management software, disclosed Monday that the firm has upgraded the firm's software to better monitor performance of financial trades. According to NetQOS, its Trade Monitor software helps trade desk and network personnel monitor financial trades using the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol. The firm said its software starts at $60,000 for up to 100 connections using the FIX protocol. FIX is a protocol used to transmit securities transactions, and is used by the NASDAQ, CBOE, brokerage firms, and other financial institutions.
