NCsoft Unveils Carbine Studios

Austin, Texas-based NCsoft said today that it has added Carbine Studios, an Aliso Viejo, California-based game studio, as the latest addition to its network of online game development studios. NCsoft did not disclose what the studio is working on, but said that the new studio is working on a massively mutiplayer gaming title. The new studio is made up of 17 former Blizzard employees, who worked on the World of Warcraft online game. NCsoft said the new team is led by Kevin Beardslee, Tim Cain, and Jeremy Gaffney.
