NCsoft Eyes August Guild Wars Release

Austin, Texas-based NCsoft, a developer of online multiplayer gaming titles, and Arenanet, a subsidiary of NCsoft, said today that the companies will release an expansion of the firm's online role playing game Guild Wars on August 31st. The firms said that the expansion will allow players to access the online Guild Wars game for the price of a retail purchase, without requiring a subscription. Guild Wars is NCsoft's popular, role playing and exploration online game. The new game expansion pack will retail for $39.99.
