Navini Inks Deal With Digitel

Mobile WiMAX service provider Navini Networks announced Wednesday that it has reached a value-added reseller and distributor agreement with Digitel Corp., a wireless systems integrator. WiMAX, which stands for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is a telecommunications technology that provides wireless data over long distances through various methods, such as point-to-point links or full mobile cellular-type connections. According to Navini, Digitel will provide the 802.16e Mobile WiMAX solution with beamforming and MIMO. Digitel Corp. is based in Atlanta. Navini Networks is headquartered in Richardson, Texas.
