National Instruments Acquires Phase Matrix

Austin-based National Instruments said today that it has also acquired phase Matrix, a developer of RF and microwave application technology, in a deal worth $38M. The firm acquired two RF-related firms today, including another RF software firm, AWR. According to National Instruments, Phase Matrix will be operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Phase Matrix develops RF and microwave test and measurement instruments, subsystems and components.
