Motion Computing Launches Tablet PC

Austin-based Motion Computing said today that it has launched a new tablet PC product, the J3500 tablet PC. The firm said the new line of rugged tablet PCs features Intel Core vPro processors, and is aimed at field workers in the area of permitting, licensing, code enforcement, and public works. The new product includes a capacative dual-touch screen, breakage resistant glass, 160 GB hard drive, and options for either a 64GB or 128GB solid state drive. The system supports up to 4GB of RAM. The system supports with the Intel Core i7 or Core i5 vPro. Pricing on the new products was not announced.
