Mirage Networks Acquired By Trustwave
Austin-based Mirage Networks has been acquired by Trustwave, a provider of information security and payment card industry software, TrustWave said Tuesday. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. According to Trustwave, it will make Mirage Network's network access control (NAC) technology part of the firm's managed security services. Mirage Networks is venture backed by Adams Capital Management, CenterPoint Ventures, Rembrandt Venture Partners, StarTech Early Ventures, and Trinity Ventures. The firm raised more than $32M in venture funding in at least three rounds. Greg Stock, the former President and CEO of Mirage Networks, will become general manager of Trustwave's security services as part of the acquisition.
