MicroMed Cardiovascular Names APAC VP

Houston-based MicroMed Cardiovascular, which manufactures left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), said today that it has named Ash Attia as its Vice President of Asia Pacific. Attia will be responsible for the firm's efforts in China, Japan, India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. According to MicroMed, Attia was most recently at Ventracor Limited, and also founded Biotronik Australia and Biotronik Asia Pacific. He has also served at Sulzer International.
