Medici Launches Messaging App For Doctors, Patients

Austin-based Medici, a new startup that is developing securing messaging apps that specifically meet HIPAA requirements for patient privacy, said it has launched its services across all 50 U.S. states. According to Medici, its service lets users invite family physicians, pediatricians, dermatologists, dentists, veterinarians, mental health providers, nutritionists and other medical providers to communicate with them via its app. The company says it lets medical providers set a "price per interaction" via its app. The company's founder and CEO is Clinton Phillips.
