Medicenna Names Chief Scientific Officer

Houston-based Medicenna, a biopharmaceuticals firm working on oncology drugs, said today that it has named Dr. Jay Stoudemire as the company's Chief Scientific Officer. Stoudemire was most recently Vice President of Preclinical Development, Regulatory, and Quality Assurance at MIrna Therapeutics, and also has served at Genentech, Ascenta Therapeutics, Chugai-Roche Pharmaceuticals, Cytel, Genetics Institute, and Xoma.
