McLaren Names VP

Houston, Texas-based McLaren Software, a developer of intellectual work and asset documentation management software for the engineering industry, reported today that it has hired Scott Barnes as its vice president of professional services. McLaren said Barnes will oversee the worldwide delivery of the company's software solutions. Previously, Barnes worked as director of solution services and training at McAfee Inc., a developer of anti-virus and computer security software. McLaren added that Barnes also served as vice president of professional services, systems engineering and training for Citadel Security Software.
