Mangstor Raises $7.9M In Series B

Austin-based data storage startup Mangstor has raised $7.9M as part of an ongoing, nearly $10M funding effort, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. Details on the funding have not yet been announced by the company. The filing said that seven investors are involved in the Series B funding. The filing indicates that Vivek Mohindra, a venture capitalist at New Science Ventures, has joined the company's board as part of the funding. Mangstor is developing flash-based storage arrays using NAND memory. Mangstor was founded in 2012, and has now raised around $12M in funding. More information »
