M.io Finds $5.75M In Funding For Universal Chat
Austin-based M.io, which develops universal messaging software which lets users chat between Slack, Cisco Spark, and Stride chat services, has raised $5.75M more in funding, the company announced this morning. The startup, led by CEO Tom Hadfield, said the funding was led by Goldcrest Capital, Eniac Ventures, and Two Sigma Ventures. M.io--which was formerly known as Message.io--says it has now raised almost $14M in total. The company's software makes it a lot easier for companies and their partners and vendors to communicate, in real time, even if they have selected different real-time messaging platforms.
