LifeSize Goes Green

Austin-based LifeSize Communications, which develops high definition video conferencing systems, said Tuesday that it has launched a new initiative to promote green technology. The firm said the new initiative--which it is billing "LifeSize Planetwise" will promote green technologies and improve the company's energy efficiency. The company will also provide pro-bono support to environmental, non-governmental organizations; as part of that effort, the company said it has donated high definition video conferencing systems to nonprofit The Climate Group. The Climate Group is focused on advancing business and government leadership on climate change.
