LibreDigital Links With Sony Readers

Austin-based LibreDigital, a provider of products and services for converting books into electronic format, said today that it has begun delivering content for its clients to the Sony family of e-readers. LibreDigital said it has begun delivering the New York Times, The New Yorker, and PC Magazine to Sony's readers, through a "Reader Daily Edition" offering. The Reader Daily Edition allows consumers to purchase both single papers or daily wireless subscriptions to content. LibreDigital provides publishers with tools to convert and serve up their content on Apple's iPhone, Amazon kindle, Barnes & Noble nook, and other electronic readers. The firm is backed by Adams Capital Management, Triangle Peak Partners, Noro-Moseley Partners, the New York Times Company, and HarperCollins Publishers.
