Legerity Joins Home Gateway Initiative

Legerity Inc. announced Thursday that the Austin, Texas-based company is now a participant in the Home Gateway Initiative, an open forum created in 2004 to help bring home communication services to millions of broadband customers across the globe.The initiative hopes to achieve this goal by establishing technical and operational standards and sharing them with the appropriate agencies, thereby improving residential voice infrastructure. Toward that end, Legerity, which specializes in the design of voice-integrated circuits for high-voltage analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, will assist in the development of residential gateway standards.
