Layered Technologies Wins WePay

Plano-based Layered Technologies, the provider of managed and dedicated hosting services, has scored a win with online payments firm WePay, the company announced this morning. Size of the deal was not disclosed. Layered said that WePay is using its PCI-compliant, cloud services to support its online payment platform. WePay is venture backed by August Capital, Highland Capital, Ron Conway, and Max Levchin, among others.
