Layered Technologies Hacked

Plano, Texas-based internet service provider Layered Technologies, a major provider of web hosting services, said late Tuesday evening that it has suffered a breach which exposed names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and server login information for up to 6,000 of its clients. The firm is asking its clients to change their login credentials established in the past 2 years. The firm did not give further details on the attack. Layered said that it is conducting a comprehensive security audit of its internal processes and procedures.
