Layered Technologies Buys New World Apps

Plano-based Layered Technologies said this morning that it has acquired a hosting provider, NEW WORLD APPS, focused on the federal cloud and hosting market. Financial terms of the buy were not announced by the company. Layered said that NEW WORLD APPS specializes in secure private cloud and secure community cloud products for federal, state and local governments, and is based in Ashburn, Va.
