Journey Education Marketing Nabs CCV Software

Dallas-based online education reseller Journey Education Marketing Inc. announced Tuesday that it has acquired CCV Software of Vero Beach, Fla. CCV publishes educational software for K-12 and higher programs. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. JourneyEd said its purchase of CCV will allow it to expand its service umbrella, which previously included only higher education, to the K-12 market. JourneyEd added that, as a result of the acquisition, it will form two divisions: a higher-education unit and a K-12 group. CCV will become the K-12 division, JourneyEd said.
