Javelin Semiconductor Acquired By Avago Technologies

Austin-based chipmaker Javelin Semiconductor has been acquired by Avago Technologies Ltd., according to reports. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Javelin Semiconductor was backed by Sevin Rosen Funds and Silverton Partners. Javelin Semiconductor was developing silicon-based power amplifiers for the cell phone market.
